Our Basic Beliefs

    We believe that people have the capacity not only to heal from personal problems, but also possess the inherent ability to empathize with others experiencing similar pain. Empathy, as well as Christian spirituality, is a powerful tool in healing. Also, people need and seek interpersonal contact and meaning in their lives. The meaning in suffering can often be found in the experience of helping another person.

    The groups are designed to be mutual support groups, which will also provide, as necessary, an educational component. We will address special issues from a Christian point-of-view. We seek to provide an opportunity for group members to experience and express their feelings in an emotionally safe environment, which is caring, compassionate, and supportive.

Financial Support

    Financial support for New World Christian Ministries and The Blue Willow Groups is provided by the gifts of those who wish to see our work continue. We never solicit donations - although they are most welcome - but some income is obtained by fees for performing marriage ceremonies within the physical area of northwest Washington state.
    All donations and fees go entirely to the physical operation of ministry offices and the support groups. If you are moved to give financial help, please send donations to: New World Christian Ministries, PO Box 1262, Bellingham, WA 98227.

    By providing a gift, you take an active part in preaching the Gospel, teaching others the knowledge contained in the Holy Bible, and giving spiritual support to those in need. Such donations are both appreciated and tax deductible as allowed by the laws governing non-profit organizations in the United States of America. Without such gifts, this ministry could not operate.
